Cuna concentrica Hedley, 1902 Description: Shell minute. Prodissoconch (Fig. 2) low, dome-shaped, with irregular nodules and thickened rim. Shape triangular, umbo located on midline, anterodorsal slope weakly convex, posterodorsal slope weakly to strongly concave. Escutcheon wide, lunule narrower. Exterior with up to 48 commarginal ribs. Interior smooth apart from muscle scars; margin strongly dentate. Hinge strong. Ligament internal. Shell translucent to opaque white. Size: Up to 2.3 mm in length. Distribution: Smoky Cape, NSW, southwards to central Vic and Tas. Habitat: From beach washup and down to 174 m depth. AMS hold 69 lots of this species, some of which contain dozens of specimens, indicating this species is of common occurrence.
